- PendingThere is a Sycamore tree as well as a Holly and Laurel tree that are located at the end of my garden on my property. They are all approximately 6.6metres (21ft) in height. The trees are generally in good condition; the Sycamore has a few dead branches (damage caused by squirrels I believe). I am looking to hire an arborist to prune the Sycamore, Holly, and Laurel tree by a third or less of their current height over a period of two years leaving a final height of approximately 15ft, as well as pushing back the Laurel tree as it is beginning to encroach into my garden, all this will only be done from myside of the property. The work is intended solely to tidy and manage the trees, and prevent the Sycamore tree from becoming overgrown, and simply maintaining the trees so that they are the right size and shape for the garden. No trees will be felled.18 Copthorne Road Wolverhampton West Midlands WV3 0ABReceived 17 Oct 2026Trees26/01112/TN1.83 km from centreWolverhampton council

H1/H2/H3 The holly trees require removal to facilitate safe and efficient implementation of the approved oak tree works and future boundary maintenance. Owing to their boundary location, retention would create ongoing management and access constraints for adjoining landowners. In addition, selectively prune branches around the overhead telephone/broadband cable supplying the cadet centre, removing only those branches that are currently contacting the cable or are sufficiently close that they are likely to interfere with, place pressure on, or damage the cable. - Pending2/2/26 (W9) Weeping Willow at the front of 17 Corfton Drive. This tree has been assessed by Clifford Webb & he had initially given permission to cut it down (email 22/05/2023). However, after getting a price to have it removed I thought I would check again as a couple of years had passed. This time Clifton changed his mind, saying that it came under the description of broad leafed tree (but this does not specify a weeping willow as being on a TPO). I would like to remove the tree in their entirety for the following reasons: -It is leaning over to the neighbours drive. -There is a main sewer that runs along our drives within a few meters of the tree. Weeping willows search out water and there is a danger of the roots damaging the sewer & causing a leak which could damage the foundations of my property. -The leaves are a nuisance I have to clear up most weekends. -The tree stops natural light entering my property. - It is expensive to have tree trimmed every few years. Please see sketch plan attached to this application, where it shows the location of the trees and main sewer pipes. May I also mention the Copper Beach tree on the back left of my back garden, I would also like to remove it. It is very tall & is tangled with the neighbours silver birch. It also stops sunlight into my garden. As far as I know there are no restrictions on this tree. Please reconsider your decision for the reasons I have mentioned. - Pending2/2/132 G1 T001 - Corsican Pine - Despite its overall vigour, a number of structural defects were identified that increase the likelihood of branch failure. Works to be completed: Reduce the foreseeable risk of branch failure over the adjacent car parking area. It is therefore recommended that the cracked lower scaffold branch be removed in its entirety, as the observed longitudinal split indicates a progressive loss of structural integrity and an increased likelihood of partial or complete failure. T002 - Elm - Routine Management Works to be completed: Regrowth extending over the car parking area be reduced by approximately 1 m, pruning back to suitable previous reduction points where practicable. This work will maintain adequate clearance above parked vehicles, manage future canopy encroachment and reduce loading on previously pruned branch structures. The Westlands 132 Compton Road Wolverhampton West Midlands WV3 9QBReceived 24 Sept 2026Trees26/01034/TR1.36 km from centreWolverhampton council
